140 West Franklin Opens Sales Gallery
Blended Use Community Connects Retail and Historic Districts

Chapel Hill, NC -- 140 West Franklin opened its Sales Gallery at a new locationon Saturday, October 11. The new Sales Gallery showcases a full kitchen and bath vignette and a replica of the BlueVue Resident Clubroom gas fireplace. A blend of culture and convenience, 140 West Franklin will link the west and east ends of the historic mile-long Franklin Street corridor.

The ideal in-town location, living on Franklin Street is a rare and limited opportunity. 140 West Franklin will stand eight stories tall, include 140 homes, 26,000 square feet of ground-level retail space and 338 parking spaces in a deck below the building.

The condominium home prices start from the mid $300,000s for a one-bedroom, two- bedrooms start from the low $400,000s; three-bedrooms start from the low $500,000s, and the13 Penthouses starting at $995,000 and up. A limited number of workforce housing is available. The 140 West Franklin project came into being with the support of the Downtown Economic Initiative between the Town of Chapel Hill and Ram. The community plans to open 2011.
